New OS GGT10 10cc two-stroke gas (petrol) engine and muffler

Logo for O.S. Engines Mfg.Co.Ltd For modelers wanting the convenience of gasoline power for their 40-size airplane, O.S. offers the GGT10. Glow plug ignition makes this engine easier to start - along with reducing overall weight by eliminating the ignition module.

OS Engines GGT10 10cc 2-stroke petrol engineThe new GGT10 engine performs well using affordable unleaded gasoline, and the PD-08 pump regulates fuel flow for consistent delivery throughout the flight. Plus, it can be retrofitted in the same space as the popular AX glow engines, sharing the same mounting dimensions as the 46AX and 55AX. For powering mid-size aircraft efficiently and economically, the GGT10 is the ideal choice.

The GGT10 features the G5 glow plug, which is dedicated to gasoline/oil operation and uses a standard glow igniter.

Recommended propellers range from a 12x7 to a 13x8

Conventional glow-driver starting eliminates the added cost and extra weight of ignition modules and batteries together with the easy availability and welcome affordability of common unleaded gasoline.

The internal PD-08 regulating pump ensures consistent fuel flow and top performance regardless of tank position, attitude or altitude and the engine runs on an inexpensive 50:1 gasoline/oil blend.

The tough Tygon fuel line between the pump and carburettor features an inline filter that removes impurities and the PowerBoost Pipe improves performance at idle, full-throttle and all points in between.

The engine includes the muffler, mounting hardware, drive hub, prop nut and washer and the forged steel conrod uses needle bearings at the bottom. Rev range is 2000-11000 rpm with the maximum power of 1.58hp being produced at 10000 rpm. The bore of 0.945" (24mm) and the stroke of 0.846" (21.5mm) gives this oversquare engine a capacity of 0.584 cu in, a shade under 10cc (9.73cc).
